CD LAUREL - SKILLS ACADEMY:

Are you ready to give your young soccer player a top-quality European soccer experience? Coach Carroll grew up playing for the world renowned Manchester United Youth Academy and learned from some of the best skills coaches in the world. His goal is to pass on the invaluable knowledge he learned on his soccer journey with our young players in Laurel. Coach Carroll’s CD Laurel training curriculum is fun, fast-paced, challenging and develops a player holistically by focusing on teaching important skills, techniques, principles of play, all while having fun! Our goal is to create a learning environment where players have so much fun in a structured, knowledge infused training session that they don’t realize that what they’re being taught is a fundamental knowledge that, in time, will develop and transform them into excellent soccer players who inherently understand skills, techniques, and principles as second-nature. The key to our curriculum is the formation of excellent habits.

Skills Academy: Age-Banded: 5-7 / 8-10 / 11-12

2x Coaches per Age Group / 1x Coaches per Skills Stations = 9 Coaches Total

All stations are: Fun, Fundamental, Competitive, Rewarding and develop the skills required to be play the game with quality.

STATION 1: Technique: Passing / Shooting / Crossing.

STATION 2: Skills: Dribbling / Turns / Creativity.

STATION 3: Attacking vs Defending Principles.

STATION 4: Integration - Small Games Focusing on Skill Implementation
